Hello everyone!!
I haven't blogged recently due to school obligations... there's no way you can write over 100 pages of MBA quality work and blog at the same time... unless you're paid to do it! However, I did complete my SPRING semester with a 4.0 GPA and graduated Summa Cum Laude! *pats self on back* I have been dreaming about blogging since I have SO much material to share with you guys!!! But first, I must organize my thoughts and dates and get back with you soon! Please check back soon for new posts ranging from having a lap dance on the subway to my styling my first fashion show at broad street to modeling! It's been a busy and hot summer but like Marilyn Monroe's famous movie.."Some Like it Hot!" Blog soon!
Love,
Jennifer

$900 for a Taxi Cab Ride??
I'm sure some of y'all are getting tired of hearing about this snow blizzard that we had here in New York City! But I couldnt let this go when i heard it less than a week ago.. During the blizzard that took over NYC, people found themselves helpless as it was a bit sudden. As the evening progressed, a young mother (with her kids) found herself with NO other option but to catch a cab! And the fare was an astounding $900!! What in the world!?
Now, i'm sure some of y'all are thinking.."What was she thinking?" Well, if you had no other option and you were stuck in the middle of nowhere and all you saw was a blinking yellow light from one of the NYC's yellow cabs, wouldnt you take that as an answer from God to get you out of the cold?? I would! Especially with little kids. SMH.
Another story.. more than 400 passengers stuck on the NYC subway from 1am till about 10am in the morning?!! DAMN! i don't know what some of y'all will do in that situation. But the questions that come to my head are: Who will walk into a coming storm...knowing the risks? Why would you bring your child with you? Was it that important for you to get on the subway? SMH some people really do believe they are invincible! Well, not to mother nature/weather! Whatever you will like to address her as. And yes, if you still dispute this world as a SHE, you might wanna go take a history lesson. Like a woman, she has her mood swings..
What would you do in these two different situations? would you pay the $900 or walk home? (i hope you wouldnt go with the option 2 ) With the second story, would you take the subway...even if you're going to visit a "friend" or would you take a rain check for some other day? (I hope you got some common sense and go for the latter LOL)

Jennifer
